During my time in South Africa, I had the opportunity to work with a friend to create branding for his business.
Fireside Adventures offers guided hikes throughout the Pietermaritzburg area. When creating the branding,
I wanted to create something that stood out among competitors and communicated the heart of the brand.

Logo Development
The logo was the primary deliverable of the project, so I
focused most of my time on it. I worked with the client to work out exactly what they wanted and provided several options for them to choose from.

Once the logo options were narrowed down, I created two different options to present, with two different color palettes utilizing two different logos. I built out a variety of deliverables to show the client how each would look in real space.
Below is the deliverables I created for the main logo that ended up being the client's choice. I focused in on the boot print that symbolizes hiking.
